I didn't. Maybe half of my high school class thought about it, the other half thought it was dumb, so I guess they all thought about it one way or the other.

My gut response is just to tell you not to do it. No matter what advice you might get, what drugs ultimately do is damage either your body, your mind, or both. They call it addiction for a reason and you're already showing the initial traits of psychological addiction linked to peer pressure and fear. You need to speak with people outside your normal peer group. It could be a counselor, a priest or some other trusted person with whom you can discuss your fears with. Drugs are not cool. They don't help you. They won't make your life better. Getting high is nothing but a lost moment in time that you will never get back and could easily drag you down into a life you neither want or need. If you have hopes and dreams of becoming someone better in the future, drugs will only make that journey harder, if not impossible. This is a chance for your to become the role model. For you to show courage and leadership of your own and chart a different path for yourself and anyone willing to come with you. Join a club, get a job, take extra classes. Talk to someone who matters. Decide what you want to be and be it, don't let others who have no interest in your life and welfare make those choices for you. When you think of the important people in your life, your role models, how many of them do drugs? When you think of yourself in the future, are drugs part of that image? Decide what matters and find the courage to make the right choices. If you need help, call a hot line, talk to a counselor, connect with someone who can show you why this isn't the best choice. I don't think you would be asking these questions if you really wanted drugs to be a part of your life. There are better things out there. Find them.

I've never done drugs. I also haven't smoked and rarely if ever drink alcohol. In high school I was a loner, but I didn't need drugs.
