As I was reading this, i was thinking depression, but since you are already diagnosed, then maybe you need a stronger dose of your meds, or a new kind. Lexapro is a good one. Oh, and any thought of suicide is serious, go see a psychologist, ASAP. It also sounds like you have swings of mania and depression which could signal bi-polar...go see your psychiatrist AND psychologist.

I complained to my Dr. about the same symptoms, the short term memory bothered me a lot. She sent me for a sleep test. I thought I slept 8 hours, but actually slept 113 minutes. In that 113 minutes I quit breathing 178 times. Diagnosis was sleep apnea. Do you wake up with a snort or snore a lot? Wake up with a sore throat? Both good indicators of sleep apnea. I also suffer from depression an diabetes. I also feel like I can't quit talking and had a very shot temper. You described a person a whole lot like me. Good luck.

My guess is either a blood sugar problem is involved or maybe too much msg or artificial sweetners. I had this same stuff--a better diet and control of what ingredients were in my food---I lost weight, got a better disposition, cleared my mind and it was all done naturally. Sugar, white flour, msg, junk food, lack of vitamin B, all added to my problems--but in a couple of months I was able to purge my systems of all the poisons and I am better.

It sounds like you may be clinically depressed. Consult your doctor, their are tests that can determine if you have a physical reason to be this way. I had a chemical inbalance in my brain that is now being controlled with medication. Good Luck. i hope you get the help you need.

Very possibly a social anxiety disorder and/or combination with something else. It's difficult, but talking to a doctor can make all the difference... medication may be the solution.

It's hard to do, but it would definitely pay off for you I'm sure.

You have a disorder, and should see a psychiatrist who can make a diagnosis and give you some help. Don't fear it. Make the appointment and do it whether you have health care coverage or not. They have a way to treat you.

me too, pass the joint please

In all honesty it sounds like depression. A work out schedule or a psychologist could help.

DON'T go to anti-depressants! They usually make it worse.
