I have had problems all night trying to get online to play Madden 07. I am seriously pissed off that I can not play online right now. My computers are working fine, so I know my internet connection is fine. If anyone else is having a similar problem, please let me know. Thanks

A lot of people are mad about the PS3 and the on-line features aren't the only reason. The BluRay drive is also a problem. Remember getting that brand new PS2, how good it felt having one until the drive went out on it and you couldn't play DVDs anymore? Then the drive went out totally and you couldn't even play any of the games. It costed me personally about $120.00 to get that fixed.

The BluRay drive in the PS3 is the same way. It was rushed tech that shouldn't have made it's appearance on the shelf until they had tested it thoroughly. There's much concern about that on the web and in all the gaming magazines. The lack of any winner between BluRay and Toshiba's HD-DVD is a downer too. If the HD-DVD wins the tech race BluRay will go out about like Betamax. They were great VCRs but VHS was the chosen format so they died. There's a lot to think about and it just goes to show you, it's really a good idea to do your homework before making a purchase.

Personally I have a 360 and a Wii. Both are verry nice even though the Wii doesn't have all the bells and whistles. The Xbox 360 more than makes up for that. I know neither have the sixaxis controller but they do have some great games and more ideas to come. The Wii also can download old NES, SNES, N64, NeoGeo, and Sega Genesis games. It emulates them very well which is a serious plus for me. Old school is still cool.

I just purchases the PS3 Tuesday afternoon, and I was connected to the internet about 30 minutes after I hooked it up. Only problems I had with the system is the first 3 times I tried to play Madden 07, the game froze up before the first half was even up. I have a wireless router in my home, and as soon as I went to the network connection screen, it told me that it deteced a wireless network and asked if I wanted to connect to it. It was all downhill from there. And to the comment about the Wii being better than the PS3, I don't think they even compare. Just one person's opinion though.

I'm sorry about the problem...I think Sony released the PS3 way too soon-before they got all of the bugs out. I would contact Sony's customer support (if that is what you want to call it).

Get the Wii, it is much better. Nintendo finally got it right.
