CTC means Cost To Company.

It si the total expenditure or the cost that is incurred to the company for hiring you.

CTC comprises of Your Gross Salary, The PF amount that company provides, the medical allowance, your bonus, your perks or special allowances which is not a part of your salary, plus overhead expenses like telephone charges, computer charges, electricity charges, water cleaning charges, house keeping charges etc. Whatever and whichever charges that the company has got to pay for you.

The CTC would generally be approx 10 to 15 % more than your gross salary.

CTC stands for "Cost to company" it means how much you are costing to your company at present.

The total of your basic salary+allowance+other perks will be called total cost to Company.

Its cost to the company..

But mind well, Its not what you get in your hand..Its just cost to company...On CTC you have to pay tax, you have to invest some funf in provident fund..

Example..My CTC is 18000 per month

On which taxes & PF will be deducted..& I got 15,000/- in hand.
