I can HEAR with my eyes closed, but I listen better when I can SEE facial expressions and body language. Sometimes words don't tell the whole truth.

sure u can. You can listen better. Closing your eyes gives you one less distraction. I saw Mr. Ted Turner on the Letterman show a while back and he was talking with his eyes closed.
