After my husband of 9 yrs got diagnosed with bipolar and schizophrenia and was put on meds and i helped him as much as i could to later find out he was doing meth and tried to commit suicide a few times........yes, i did hope he would do it, so he would quit trying to make everyones lives miserable when he had been given every chance to get healed. i got sick of our kids suffering and wondering each time he did something stupid if this was the last time they would see him

Oh I've been really pissed at him but never wished death or harm upon him.

Well, yes, but the way to get over that is to let it out in a SAFE way. I tell hubby, c'mon, let's fight, and we have a little play fight. Or I toss his laundry on the floor and say "YOU pick it up and stop throwing things."
He does it, and it makes me feel better.
Do I have my men well trained or what?? Lol.

When my ex husband was drunk and obnoxious, I wished he would pass out. Maybe not harmful, but not nice.
