1st of all...LOL!
2nd...Well I wouldn't want to embarrass them, but if the scent/odor was unbearable, then I would move. Even then, I would try 2 be as discreet as I could be.

well, last time I went to church, they passed the collection plate to my hubby and he put in a five and got four ones out of it...I was embarrassed...

This happens in lots of places, including church.
As Forrest Gump used to say, "It happens."
We pass a lot of things in church.
We pass the peace. When someone passes you the peace, you pass it back.
We also pass a register for attendance/visitors, etc.
My husband likes to pass mints in church.
One Sunday we had to call an ambulance, because someone passed.... out.

i would not be caught dead in any church to begin with but if this were something i encountered anywhere I would say what the f u c k are you tryin to pull a s s h o l e? RIGHT OUT LOUD! i ain't takin a fall for NOBODY!

i would move if someone farted. and if there aren't any other places to sit, i would just go home. a good excuse to get out of church!
