I think I have a pretty good rule about books in this modern era.. If it is a good story someone will make a movie of it.. Movies may be the only exposure to classic literature that many ever get. If they like the movie they may then read the book to get the details.. .. and there have been so many good movies made from books classics to modern, and of course because of time constraints they become a condensed Version of the books. Some may then read the books to get the details...You never here of anyone complaining that the book left out too much of the movie...
