Generally you can start exercising six to eight weeks after a cesarean section. However, you should talk to your doctor before beginning any type of exercise program.

If it was a clean caesarian operation and the wound healed normally, you have no problem to exercise if you don't have any other physical limitation.

Walking is a great way to get some exercise and yes, you should do that. As far as any abdominal exercises you should really ask your doctor about that before you do that.

My mom had a hysterectomy 2 months ago and she's already been advised to exercise, therefore, I would say yes. But you really need to talk to your doctor.

Yes, we let all our patients know they can resume their normal activities 8 weeks after a Cesarian Delivery. Of course you may feel more sore than normal, but it is still ok.
