*****Saving Aol mail on my PC.....where did it go?********Help!***?

Hi all ,
I have saved much information from my family tree in form of an email and attachment from AOL and saved it via Aol ON MY PC.
i SEE THE EMAILS in the file folder but it won't allow me to pull them up. Can someone help me with this? Where did they go? Very crucial information. HELP

can I email someone for help, or is there advice? if the email I saved to my pc from aol mail is old, does it go somewhere? Im just not sure where to access it,and would like to be able to retrieve the documents.

I tried DmC's advice but the file saved seems to be empty; even after copying and pasting. Any where else I can check? thanks for your advice.

when you save mail to your pc you still have to open your aol software to get to it, you dont need to sign in, the read button will still work, you should be able to move it from there to another folder by right clicking and moving or copy and paste. good luck. you need to click manage e mail and look in the saved on pc folders to find it. there may be a folder in your pictures called pics downloaded from aol, if it was an attachment it may be in there
