If you're looking for good fun, I would recommend The Muppet Christmas Carol (with Michael Caine as Scrooge) and Scrooged with Bill Murray, both variations on the same theme and both lots of fun.
For a totally different take on Christmas, try The Nightmare Before Christmas, a stop-motion animated fantasy about a collision between Halloween and Christmas.
