Traditional restaurants do not accept food stamps. Food stamps can only be used to purchase "unprepared" food. Some chains such as Papa Murphy's Pizza, are allowed to accept food stamps, because their food is unprepared, in that one buys it uncooked, and bakes it at home. Even food that is purchased at grocery stores that is prepared, such as hot soups from the deli section, are ineligible for food stamp purchases.
Your question implies that there would be something unethical or objectionable about a restaurant accepting food stamps (which they do not) so, unless you are willing to explain that, it is difficult to answer your question as it stands. Care to elaborate?

Boycott??? Extreme maybe, but I certainly don't support the action of restaurants taking government assistance as payment. Eating out is one of the most expensive ways to eat. These people obviously don't have a lot of money, so they should find the CHEAPEST way to eat. Eating out, while it can be tasty, fun, and enjoyable, is not a right, it's a privilege. It's a privilege that one must be able to pay for on their own. There are too many hungry people for the tax funded government programs to be paying top dollar to feed people. I'm a cashier, and it bothers me when people buy just a bunch of chips and candy with their food stamps. The amount of nutrition it provides in relation to the cost of the item??? Holy cow...no. If I were so strapped for money that I needed other people to fund my meals, I would use the money very wisely -- as economically and as nutritionally sound as possible. The government has food stamps to provide basic life sustaining necessities for those that need the help -- not help them live a lifestyle they can't afford with restaurant prepared meals and lots of junk food for the movies. People have too much of a sense of entitlement these days, imo.

Absolutely not! I look at it like this: The restaurant is trying to include people that normally might not be able to eat at this restaurant before. I will go on the record as saying I WOULD boycott the restaurant if they allowed the sales of alcohol be paid for with food stamps!

Food is food. Children of poor people need a little change every once in a while. Eating in a restaurant is a nice experience. Chill out

Depends what type of crowd it attracts. I suspect that if other patrons eating there are paying with food stamps I wouldn't like the atmosphere too much and wouldn't trust the safety of the food.
