It is in the process of getting the gifts, but when the Christmas day actually comes you realize it was worth the work. Seeing the look on people's faces when they open the gift you gave them makes you satisfied.

It can be. I sometimes get stressed, but I do shop in advance, so that I don't have to get into too much traffic and crowded malls, so I avoid a lot of that. Sometimes it can't be avoided, when you live in a metro area like I do. If I feel I am stretching myself too far, I will prioritize and only do what I feel I can handle. I try to focus on the true meaning of Christmas. Although I love to shop and buy presents, I remind myself what the reason for the season is, and always set aside time before opening presents to honor the Lord by reading a devotional and praying with my family.

No. Hubby and I planned early what we wanted to buy for people. Gifts were all bought last month or before. Wrapped a few at a time, now all done. Nothing left to do but cook the dinner, and of course, watch the little ones' delight with the gifts.
