I notice some people allow Email contact...should I write and say thanks for giving me the best answer. Or would that weired some people out.

I do not see anything wrong with it if the answer was truly helpful. I believe that people are due whatever you feel they are. I have seen some really great answers on here. I have also seen some people that do not care about anybody and show it in their answers. If it bothers them then they should not allow any contact. Have a great HoLiDaY!!

You can put a message at the bottom of your question they will see when you have chosen their answer as best answer. Or you can email them and tell them. Either way is probably ok, if they are able to receive emails from other users. God bless****

not necessarily, but if you really want to find out more and contact further that person yes. i think it is somehow it is a silly question, I mail 10 percent of my answerer's for e.g.

you don't need someone's answer for that...be independent and make your own choices..you'll be stronger for it..
