No -- the posted limit is the posted limit. Police will usually give you 5 to 7 MPH over, but don't count on much more. And remember, during inclement weather, they have discretion to LOWER the posted limit.

Depends on what street I'm on. I'll do 15 over if I know the road, there's no other cars and know all the speed traps. On the highway I go about 7-9 over or stay the same speed as everyone else.

That's about right, although I still slow down when I see a cop. I don't brake, I just let off the gas. I can't stand when people brake on the highway.
