You have to embrace it from the inside and live it. This is comming from the Girlest of Girls. It doesn't mean u have to be week or old fashioned. A new age girly girl is like Elegant and Tough! You dont have to wear floral prints and stuff.
U cant get more girly then a little black dress, heals, a pearl necklace and a red lip. Being a girly girl is about the details and how you cary your self. If your made up perfectly then you have these chewed up nails and dry hands it totally wrecks it. Its about embracing it as a life style and carrying your self like a polished Elegant women. You should look neat, sophisticated and inteligent and you will feel like it on the inside.
Brush up on your fashion and makeup from a trusted source like Harpers Bazzar, style.com or Vogue....don't listen and follow the trends that the girls in your school do because they are probably dated. The girliest of girls can wear a well tailored suit and still scream feminity and sexiness. ....pair a suit with a sexy eye and some great heals. its all about the details the way you present your self. Watch some fashion shows like Armani Privé and Victoria's Secret too see how elegant women cary themselves. Notice how they are elegant too the tips of their fingers...the way their hips sway, their poise and posture yet still strong and powerfull.

Well first and foremost, you have to pick a style that best suits you. If you like athletic styles you can still make them look girly. it's all about your accessories, hair, and make up. get a couple of colored bangels. Try wooden bangels or colors that compliment your wardrobe, but not the exact color. You want to promote a more abstract you. I know its hard wearing heels if you're not use to it, but you can get a pair of EMU boots or snow boots and feel comfortable while looking good. I am suggesting that you go to my favorite store on this planet and get hooked from A-Z. Go to American Eagles' website and look over some of their clothing. I'm sure you'll find something. I think people misinterpret what being a girly-girl is and somewhere in their subconsious think it's an embarrasing/negative trait to be "womanly".
Personally, I love getting my hair styled/trimmed every 3-4 months (deep conditioned)
I love getting my nails done (no fake nails for me)
I love reading empowering autobiographies of women around the world who set an example of what being a real, strong minded woman is.
I take hip hop/street funk lessons and would also recommend ballet because you can feel sexy and elegant and express yourself through music and it also gives you an oppurtunity to resepct other women =)
go to museums, fashion shows, and enjoy going out to clubs.

I used to be a really big tom boy- i transitioned by making little changes at a time and it really helped me become comfortable with the change and I didn't get the bad attention of "being something that im not" start with you favorite pair of jeans, and instead of a t-shirt... pair it with a cute tank. or fitted shirt. start using lip gloss instead of chapstick. and wear mascara before painting you face with all these crazy colors your unsure of... (mascara makes a big difference) just keep progressing towards girlier things and before you know it *smack* you'll be the skirt and heels wearing girl you wanted to be- your way.

shop @ A&F, hollister, american eagle, pac sun... or just girly stores... but still try to be you, if you change alll of a sudden then people will think you are wierd
Also makeup is important, so is doing your hair.

Wear pink frilly skirts and pink shirts. Wear pigtails or make your hair wavy. Wear pink makeup. Also wear stuff with lots of bling.
