Based on the price of homes, schools and quality of life?

There are some areas of MoCity that are serviced by the City of Houston. I am not impressed by Fort Bend ISD....and neither were several teachers that used to teach in FBISD.
I like Katy better. I have been VERY impressed with Katy ISD. After experiencing Alief ISD, this is like heaven. If you would like to know more, http://www.katyisd.org

Of those two Missouri City is better, but neither of those places is really in Houston. If you want to be able to take advantage of what the city has to offer like the Museums, theaters, restaurants, shopping and Medical Center (but hopefully you won't need that), then try looking in areas like Meyerland, Westbury, Bellaire, and West University. There are good public and private schools in those areas. Some of these neighborhoods are more expensive than others, but I don't know what price range you are looking at. What you have to understand about Houston is that it is a very spread out city, and Katy and Missouri City are far away. Katy is at least an hour from downtown, if you don't have any bad traffic to deal with. So I would definitely reccomend that you choose an area in the city. Though it is a little farther out than the areas I mentioned before, I would reccomend the Memorial area over the two you are thinking about.

Katy cuz mo city has already been corrupted by some bad seeds, actually Katy has too but not so much and Katy is nearer to Cy-Fair district which has basically the best schools for kids Mo City has some bad schools around there. Ur best bet is Katy
