People come to religion either through ignorance, lack of inner strength or laziness, sometimes all three. Any wonder that any of these lead to a minimal education?

Religious devotion is a drug. When Pentecostals praise Jesus and sing God songs while clapping their hands in a communal frenzy, thousands of endorphins are released into their bloodstreams which make them 'high' in the same way a junkie gets high after injecting heroin.

thank you very much.
I am Dyslexic. and my lovely public school decided that English classes should be followed by Spanish and then French Classes.
and even then they never taught me proper sentence structure. or punctuation. they were too busy teaching me Shakespeare and English Lit.
now at 29 years old i have the time money and knowledge to correct the things that i do not know. but learning Proper English by yourself from college books is not easy.

I learned how to write and speak English 4 years ago, i don't think i am doing so bad. Anyway, that has nothing to do with religion, i think you just feel good by asking that question because you feel superior. You have my applause. You feel better now? I hope so.

first of all you don't know the 'MAJORITY' of religous people so you have no basis to make that comment in the first place. And even if you did know the majority, you would still be generalizing. Try focusing on something else like your writing and spelling skills.

Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29so that no one may boast before him.
However, not all are uneducated. I will watch for your questions in the near future.

I think this runs across ideological lines, thank you. :P
I've met my share of less-than-bright secularists, but that's more autobiographical in nature, and tells me nothing of the validity of their professed worldview.
