America would regain its self-respect and instead of the people living in fear of their government, the government would learn to fear the wrath of the people. And we may have to storm a lot more than the WH - the democrats are now saying, "impeachment is not on the table". Looks to me like they are so anxious to collude with the most corrupt regime this country has ever had.

The Republicans have retired the cup for mendacity in pursuit of the Presidency. Herbert Hoover: "Prosperity is particularly around the corner." Thomas Dewey: "those drained previous guy can no longer win the conflict." Dwight D. Eisenhower: "It became a climate balloon." Barry Goldwater: "Extremism interior the risk-free practices of liberty is not any vice." Richard Nixon: Take your %.., yet "i'm now no longer a criminal" is the single which sticks the main." Ronald Reagan: yet yet another gold mine, yet "We did no longer, repeat, did no longer commerce palms or something else for hostages" became an incredible one. The elder George Bush: "learn my lips: No new taxes." the extra youthful George Bush: "i visit restoration honor and integrity to the White residing abode" would desire to have been the biggest lie in Presidential historic previous, as quickly as you concentration on each and all of the others. John McCain has a strategies to bypass to cach them, yet through having Bush's endorsement, he's a liar through association.

Maybe you people don't know this yet, but Yahoo & all but one other content provider & search engine are turning over our IPs & email addresses to the government spook agencies. Bush issued an Executive Order that also requires them to send along the ID of any user typing certain "tag" words to appropriate agencies. This has been going on for weeks; I learned of it yesterday, I believe it was on c'net.news.
Google is the only company who has fought this in court. So far Google is winning, but the US Appeals Court & US Supreme Court must rule before Bush's order is overturned.
With most of the media now owned by huge corporations, here is the last stand for a truly independent press. Without what I have learned on the Net, I would not be aware of many of the irregularities within the Bush Admin. Bush has now taken aim at us on the Net to try to shut us up & stifle criticism.
Talk about storming the White House is not a good idea. Many of us are trying to bring him down, legally. Yes, we may be wrong on details, but his overall pattern is clear Click the link below to learn a little more. Make your own decisions.

That would be in the spirit of America. The men in power are not concerned with the people and do not act in the best interests of the country.
Of course this isn't the same America of back then either. The people are not as strong and determined as our forefathers. Ipods, hdtvs, McDonalds, Green Day and Robin Williams have drawn most of this country into a slumber of passivity and mediocrity.
Not to mention those in power are prepared for an attempted overthrow and it would be stopped in mere hours. It would be impossible to topple the government with a revolution created by the people.

Yes I think we need to do it. But I don't think we need to stop there. We need to hold all of our Representatives accountable. Either do what the American people want done or risk getting your dumbasses dragged out in the street & your heads stomped in! Unfourtionatly there is such a sence of apathy by the American people today that it will not happen anytime soon.

That's going against everything Democracy stands for. He was legitimately elected twice. Just because the minority didn't like it doesn't mean there should be a revolution. Thank God for the Secret Service...

Just remember tough guys, you got to bring some as, to get some as. I would hold G W Bush's coat and drink a Sam Adams while the Pres bounced your unpatriotic ace down the White House steps and off the grounds. After the anarchists have been vanquished we'd all sing God Bless America and have another round!

You would be lucky to get out of that situation alive. No, the founding fathers would probably have you tarred and feathered and then hung for high treason. Personally, I would love it if all you bleeding heart types would try such an insane stunt as your suggesting. You'd all being crying home to momma!
PS-By the way Jeff P, Thomas Jefferson through out all that talk (which I agree with) once he became president. History, look into it. Lincoln was also had massive libertarian values but through out almost all civil liberties during the civil war.
