This waiter is getting ruder everytime i go to this coffee shop, first it was harmless jokes and now its getting real nasty. I always get a coffee and drink it black, the waiter goes you want your coffee black and strong like you like your men. I thought that was extremely rude to just say that to me especially since I'm not even friendly towards this waiter. How should I act towards him the next time I see him???

You need to tell the manager. Also, the next time you go in, you should specifically ask for a different waiter. It is totally inappropriate for anyone to make comments like that to a customer. It is harrassment.

You said it was harmless jokes at the beginning, which maybe gave the waiter the impression he could step up the talk a bit.
You have some options.
1) Never go back (super passive)
2) Complain to the manager (passive aggressive)
3) Next time the person is your waiter say something like this...
"I do not enjoy being spoken to this way, I did not intend to give you that impression. I do not want to engage in this sort of conversation with you and I expect you to respect it." (very assertive)
The waiter may not change, but you will have accomplished a couple of things.
You will have stood up for your self in a non-violent manner,
You will have put him on notice, (he may not realize this is the situation)
And you may have saved another customer from the same rude treatment.

Did you know that sexual harassment can happen anywhere? That is a form of it, right there. Call the manager when you are NOT there, a friendly phone call and make certain that you're speaking to the management, not some team leader who is going to do nothing but aggrevate the situation and the waiter. Find out who the top dog is there and call, very diplomatically and explain your concern and ask, in their professional opinion, how to avoid this problem as it is a concern. Trust me, a true manager will DEFINITELY offer a solution, thank you for your time and handle it right away. It should not happen again, if it does, ask for the manager on duty at this time or better yet, ask for the manager BEFORE you order. Find out if there is a customer line or main office, you can write a letter, email your concern or call directly to the customer service team. This should not be tolerated. Good luck to you, my friend.

Talk to the manager. Explain that you like the place and want to continue giving them your business but you think what the waiter says to you (tell him) is really out of line. I'm sure there will be no problem having someone else serve you.

I would report him to management. He has no customer service skills and should not be a waiter. Please I hope you are not leaving him a tip. Thats whats wrong with our world today, too many RUDE people. How would he like it? Better yet, find another place too go and spend your hard earned money.

Are you tipping this waiter or not ?
Did you stiff the waiter the 1st time he waited on you ?
Because a server NEVER forgets a stiff. EVER.
If this is not a possible history then I guess I would talk to a manager or find another place to frequent.

Why do you want to go there again? Why do you want to pay somebody that is rude with you? Why do you want to support a business that hires incompetent people? Personally, if I get disrespected in a store, I'll stop going to that store (or any other store from that chain). I am the customer and I have the money. You want my money? Then make nice!

1st. You should give him an evil look
2nd. Ask if you can speak with the manager and tell the manager that he isn't having good customer service and he is throwing innuendos (sexual remarks) at you... That'll get him in trouble maybe even fired
3rd. Bring a big guy in there with you (one that looks like he could beat him up)
4th. If he still does that crap, then smack him or kick him in the nuts

Next time just request a different waiter, or better yet just stop going there.

The best thing to do is stop going there. Why give this business your hard-earned money if you just wind up feeling disrespected?
