The value of any First Issue of any publication is dependent upon a few details.

The first, is the condition of the publication. Are there any tears in the pages? Any folds or creases? Are there any pages missing? Are the staples rusty? Once you have ascertained the condition, you must then find out the second piece of the criteria...

Which is, How rare is the publication? How many copies in Good or Near Mint Condition, exist?

Once you have that information, you might try looking up some places that deal in sports memorabilia.

As I am not a sports fan, I don't know of any personally, but you might try a search of "sports memorabilia shops" in the Advanced Search area of almost any search engine and see what they come up with.
