well I'm your sons age...... I'm 12also, and i know how your son must feel...... hes probably scared of this guy that is trying to take your place, and my mom has a boy friend....... i cant stand him. i honestly want to wish you the best of luck and try talking to her...... if she wont listen the law can help. plus hes 12. dont put him on the spot, but hes old enough to choose who he wants to be with............ but do not give up on hope! every thing will work out for the good people in life. and for the chick, anyone who can take their son away from their father like that is absolutely nuts! im sorry dude, this makes me wanna cry, but i dont have much to say, except dont put the kid through all of it. my mom and dad were never married, but it would kill me when he would call to come and see me. i missed my dad, and im sure that your son misses you too. so the best thing to do is TRY YOUR BEST........ your find the money, youll find your son, you will get custody of him, if you TRY YOUR BEST! i hope the best for you and i really do feel for not only you, but your son as well! i wish you all the luck and hope in the universe! experiences

I been through just about every family law issue there is with my ex. All I can say is you reallllly need a lawyer. Your wife is a wicked eveil person and the one is hurting the most is your child. He is 12 and is old enough to know whats up or down and he will end up hating and resenting her for what she is doing.

Oh! My! you could be my son! I wish you all of the luck! I haven't been able to see my grandson in going on six years now. My son just cannot afford a lawyer. I am sure that one day my ex-daughter-in-law will pay for this. In the mean time my grandson, my son and I are all suffering because of her .We also live on the Il, In state line.

Oh bless your heart! Listen you have every right to be in your son's life. And this woman the mother of your child should consider herself lucky to have a man who wants to participate. Now days you don't see that much if at all!

I suggest that you contact your DSS they will be able to give you some key points of contact to assist you such as attornerys and such.

One things for sure she will be coming for child support, by you going to DSS this will also place them on alert that YOU are trying to be in your son's life, support him and so forth.

Do contact your local DSS they can and will help you those ladies there will be thrilled to assist you!! Again not to many men will even want or try to step up to the plate!

Keep in mind that by you contacting DSS now your 2 steps ahead of that cruel woman!

Good luck and don't give up, you fight for your rights and also for your son! She isn't setting good example by doing what she has done so use that to your advantage too!

sounds as if she is afraid of you, being afraid to live with someone is a miserable life. she is running from something or you. please do not be mean to her or the child. let her understand how much you love your son, and stay calm for awhile and things will get better. may god bless you and your family

you can go to the court and ask for an emergency hearing. I pray this all works out for you.
