I have a Abramite Head Stander. I really enjoy this fish it is very amusing. I am looking for info on this fish. I can't find any info about it on the web at all. I barely found out what it is called. Does anyone know anything more about this fish other than it's name? So far it hasn't killed anything & I noticed it likes to eat algie wafers. It often will grab a whole wafer and swim off to some hidden part of the tank to eat it.

You're right, not much info out there. I found a bulletin board discussion at the link below, others of the species love those algie wafers as well, apparently. Don't know what kind of info you're looking for but I hope it helps. If not, go to the library!

Do you live in the USA? I'm pretty sure they are illegal in the US.
