JK Rowling just released the title a few days ago on her site, the title was later confirmed by Bloomsbury.
The title of the 7th and final HP book is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

I am a writer, and you can take it from me. Unless J K Rowling has lost her mind, she cannot kill Harry Potter. The first three books had sort of an uplifting ending. The next three were darker and ended not so good. This is what writers do. You stick your main character in a tree and throw rocks at them, make them look like they will die, but then you have to save them. Harry Potter will come out on top at the end of book 7. I can't say the same for his friends.
