i saw a few people mention bare minerals and mac, i wouldn't suggest using either.

bare minerals is alright if your skin is perfect other than acne, it's mainly used to cover up wrinkles and discoloration. if your skin is a bit too dry or a tad bit too oily, it will show. mac is really heavy make up, and while it might cover up acne, it can worsen it.

i just bought a new foundation from revlon which i'm still deciding about, but after christmas i'm planning on looking into getting cover fx foundations, they're supposed to be really great for acne prone skin and work really well for covering up scars. so check it out, it's about $32 per case of foundation, depending on whether you get the liquid or powder form. there are stands in nordstrom or macy's stores.

take care! happy holidays.

I feel for you - i have the same problem. I use bare escentuals foundation - loose powder so it doesn't clog my pores (which will cause more acne). I've been using it for 5 years and it works wonderfully. http://bareescentuals.com/

Good luck - hope if works for you as well as it has for me.

remember you get what you pay for, normally i sued fashion fair but lately i've cheap using maybeline, try some commercial products. Don't paint it on and you can mix colors to get a good blend to match your skin tone to make it look natural.

PS don't leave a makeup line along your jaw line either

if you have acne, don't clog up your pores with makeup, let alone foundation!

let that stuff clear up and apply your makeup minimally. less is more, trust me! if anything, do up your eyes pretty and leave your face clean with a hint of bronzer or blush.

I use Dream Matte Mousse. But ask a professional cosmetologist, there's probably something better.

MAC concealers or Loreal True Match superblendable. They make the TOP3 best list! See this source for why. http://www.beautyqa.com/

Vincent Longo Water Canvas is a good one. It's water based so it won't clog pores but it also has excellent coverage.
