How do you feel when you deserve something but you don't get?

Depends on whether it is good or bad. If it is something good that I didn't get, I just try to get over it by thinking of the good things that I do have. If it is bad, like getting chewed out and I didn't get it, or like getting in a car accident b/c I was careless, I thank God and think about how I can do better next time.

Not bad, disappointed maybe for a moment or two, that's all though.

I feel worse when I do get a something, but I don't feel I deserve anything. The embarassment, wondering if everyone else thinks the same thing....

That depends.

If it could easily be given to me, and I really deserve it but DON'T get it, I'd feel cheated.

If people would love to give something to me (cuz I deserve it, of course, like a raise in pay, or something I worked hard for), but they can't give it cuz they simply don't have the funding, I would be perfectly okay already when they honestly explained to me I SHOULD get "it", but they can't afford it right now.

depends on what it is...
some things would annoy me, but then again if I know I did something good, I would just hope that what you do comes back to you.

Someone else, getting something you earned or deserved when they didn't earn it, that would tick me off though.
