Who should I play as my third receiver this week? Chad Johnson who's going up against Denver and will be defended by Champ Bailey the whole game, or Ronald Curry of Oakland who is probably the number 1 receiver on that team with Randy Moss out. I'm afraid with Bailey on Johnson that Carson Palmer might throw mostly to the other side to T.J. Houshmanzadeh, specially if he gets picked early on throwing in Bailey's direction.

Great question im sure people will think your stiupid for asking that question but go with curry. Chad will get SHUT DOWN champ exels against competion and was looking forward to this macthup since the begining of the season. Plus Oakland likes to throw and curry is the #1 target plus its a staurday night game gotta love it.

I can see why you're lingering over this.

But use your head. Does anyone ever sit a top 3 receiver just because of his matchup? I could see if he had a bad leg or knee problem and was going against Champ, but he has been practicing fine all week.
You also have to look at the fact that every quarterback the Raiders put on the field somehow finds a way to suck. They do not have a great offense at all. Plus their coach, Art Shell, said that they want to "install Justin Fargas into the offense". Fargas is a very explosive back with lightinin speed. They probably wont throw the ball a lot.

START OCHO CINCO!

Ocho Cinco. Johnson is a way bigger threat in the red zone and can take on any cornerback in the NFL. The Raiders offense is very poor so there is a way smaller chance of Curry reaching paydirt.
