Try John Steinbeck's "Cannery Row" or;

J. R.R Tolkien's " Hobbit " ... which after the first three chapters will usher you into a world of enchantment and " The Lord of the Rings" , the book is better than the movie, or;

" Huckleberry Finn " and "Tom Sawyer" by Mark Twain... or "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's court".

If all else fails just know that reading is alot of fun!

"House of Leaves" by Mark Z Danielweski. It is the most interesting, involving, and truely scary book I've ever read.

well, I don't like to read that much, but my dad pointed out this series of books called the Executioner, awsome books, its like The Punisher on steroids. The main character Mack, his family gets killed by the mafia so he single-handidly tries to take down all of the gangs and mafias he can. If you're looking for action packed, action, with more action...read these books.
