Quite honestly, I believe you would have to have a very strong personality and lots of confidence to wear these boots. One, you would have to take humilation, looks, stares, and inquiries about your boots whether positive or negative. And two, you would have to be confident in them in order to pull the look off.
I personally believe that if you walk around like you are the ish, then you shouldn't have a problem. No matter who you are, if you sell to people that you are confident and don't need validation from anyone else, they will immediately buy it. Now I guess its up to you to sell it the best way you know how if you expect them to buy it.
Good luck, and I hope you're wearing these boots because your feeling them, not for personal acclaim. Because honestly, they look like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle boots, so u might hear a lot of jokes about that. But, if you honestly like them, then I say do you.

Here is the thing if you wear them some people will make fun of them but if you really like them then you have to basically be super confident and shrug off any negative comments.... If you think that you can do this then rock on.

Whoah!!! Hahahahaha!!! Those are funny looking shoes man. You look like a freakin NINJA with those shoes. It also looks like camel toe shoes. Damn funny looking. You are going to get a lot of wedgies in school if you wear those horrible shoes. The model thinks he looks cool, bwahahaha!!!
If you fancy getting mauled and beaten up, then go ahead wear those shoes.

Ew, no! I hate the second picture. I know the whole "hate is a strong word" concept, but it's the only way to say it! I hate, hate those boots. The second picture was a nightmare, dude.

I like them. They're really unique. But people might laugh at you at first because they are so different. As long as you feel comfortable, it's all good. I think I've seen some Nike's similar to these. It's better to be different than to wear everything the masses are wearing anyway.
