Oprah has en-lightened a lot of people. I do believe, she could en-lightened the people who really really (the most) need hand for goodness.
I do wish, this can be done by others too; such as President & Prime Minister (befor they make policy or take any action) in any places.
I beliefe, we do hope THERE'S STILL HOPE for creating BETTER PLACES in OUR BEAUTIFUL WOLD.

Oprah living in poverty? She already has, my dear. She was born in Mississippi to an absent father, an abusive mother and a strict grandmother under the most poorest of conditions.
She has already been there, done that.
Why should Oprah be obliged to donate to ANY charity for being a successful icon, TV show host, great communicator, counsellor, motivational speaker and phenomenal business woman?
SHE GOES TO AFRICA TWICE PER YEAR, FUNDS CHICAGO CHILDRENS HOSPITALS AND BUYS HOMES FOR KATRINA SURVIVORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She does ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why don't you do some volunteer charity work out of the goodness of YOUR heart? Practice what you preach!!!

I'm not understanding the question ...... but my family is friends with Oprah cuz my mom was one of her good friends in high school and she was very poor growing up this is when she lived in TN. after she moved from MS
so yeah she can live in poverty for a year, she spent most of her early childhood and teen years in it.

I do not understand what your question is but if you are asking if Oprah could live in poverty, she already has done that. Like most black people in America she would adapt to her circumstances and then set about to improve them but would she flip out if she were to be poor again? It is highly unlikely that Oprah will be broke anytime soon and of course she would be as upset as any human being would be, but then she would see what remained and make what she could of it until she could make it better, and then she would. We were born in adversty and live with it constantly in the US. Oprah would adapt and still come out on top.

Oprah is annoying and detached completely from society. Please do not cheapen the Nobel Peace Prize by honoring her with it.
