I was talking to this British chick and at first everything was cool and then I made a little joke about her name and she got offended and I haven't seen her since. She is so stupid. I'm glad I'm not talking to her no more if she's like that.

I'm sorry things didn't work out with you and the Brit chick, however, I don't think all Brits are prude and boring. They just have a different sense of humor from most Americans, Canadians, Mexicans, Indians, Asians, etc, etc.... Perhaps it would have been a better idea to make a little joke about the weather rather than starting off with something so personal as the girl's name. She can't help if it's funny. It's what her parents gave her, so she's stuck with it. I bet I could make a joke or two out of your name if I tried but I would wait until we got to know each other better. Cheer up and try again with the next Brit girl you meet. :-)

Each nation has a culture of its own, built up by several generations of it people. To label any group as prude and boring is a sweeping generalisation that doesnt speak well.
If all British are prude and boring, I am sure as a nation Britain wouldnt exist as no one would like to deal with them!
Have you tried asking Britishers what they think of the country from where you come? If not, try and get an honest answer. You would be surprised!

You shouldn't judge a whole nation on your experience with one person.
The Brits were into Punk rock and the Gothic look long before it came to the U.S.--that should show right there they had a sense of humor.

Honestly, with a name like panty raider I probably wouldn't spend much time talking to you either. I think the Brits are pretty good eggs and they are just nervous because of all the Muslims living over there.

hmm welp once I attempt to talk somebody new, i tend to get this lil element started (especially on myspace) i attempt to locate some activity they have, that i do too. its like this 'whats up how ya been? i admire your horses, thier goodins" then i almost laways get this, automobile-respond or somethin "im good, how are you? thank you!" then im like "im doin tremendously good, what are you into this evening?" "oh no longer something lots, u?" and this is going around and around till then - it stops. like, we basically enhance bored of one yet another. i think you gotta be aggressive? reason i aint agressive, and that i dont get nowhere, heh. useful you may communicate bout intercourse, yet whilst a woman messages me talkin bout intercourse, i forget approximately approximately her assuming shes a ho*ker, or a wh**e. how me and my woman hit off replaced into, we the two complained bout myspace messin up non-end, then our yahoos tousled, and then her laptop broke, so ya. possibly that works, whilst the two can come across a undemanding floor/temper to agree on. if your bored, possibly you elect ot refer to somebody whos additionally bored?
