For the most part, yes. The clothing was warm enough for their winters. However, not enough for their invasion of Russia.

Here's a list of what they wore:

Yes again they conquered by being bullies innocent people from everywhere and stole their money and had those coats made.
They should have had no coats. They were the most ignorant, barbarians in history, Lazy cowards, that could not make a living and adopt a better society for their country to live by, so they turned to violence out of frustration, because they were not that smart to figure out that if they would have struggled a little more like America did, they could have had a wonderful democratic society, but no they gave in to hate, and greed, so thank goodness they are over. There is always a better way than what they did, and the denials of the public that lived there and went along with it is appalling. I have no sympathy for any of them, especially what they did in Poland, etc.,

Yes. These long coats were called trench coats. They were made popular during WW1 by British and French soldiers and often seen in the trenches which is where they got their name. During WW2 they were still being worn by Great Britain, Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union during cold weather over the standard uniforms.

During the Battle of Stalingrad the Gremans suffered because the uniforms they started their big push with were fall clothing and that was no match for the Russian winter.

Yes except when they got caught in the russian winter and they realised they were ill equipped to deal with that level of cold.
