How can I get the bright spots off my psp?

My screen has no scratches on it, but has these scratch like things like lines of light. They are very distracting, I tried to clean it, and that didnt do anything. What is wrong? Is this covered by the warranty?

Never heard of that before. If they are not physical scrathes in the plastic then it should be covered under the warranty. You might want to go here to contact Sony to find out if it is covered under warranty and how to return it - http://www.us.playstation.com/Corporate/ContactUs/ConsumerServices
