Me personally, I'd go for the iPod. If your parents can spend the bucks, I'd suggest the Apple 80GB iPod. It olds up to 7,500 songs in 128-Kbps AAC format, up to 25,000 iPod-viewable photos, or up to 40 hours of video (20 hours of battery life too.) It's about $350.00 or so, but it's soooo worth it. They also have a 30GB for around $250.00.
If you're more of a gamer, then go for the PSP. Like you said, you can have music, games, pics, movies, and the internet on it. What more could you want? =P
