Only we can change our fate. We have the power to take this country back. Fight for what you believe in. You ALL have a voice, USE IT!!! Voice your objections. Enough of this bickering back and forth between us all. If you feel something is wrong with this country, don't be lazy, voice that objection to every government official you can. If enough of us start speaking up the country would have to listen. Think 9/11 was a cover up, VOICE IT! Hate the war in Iraq, VOICE IT! Want to seal the borders, VOICE IT! Only you can make it better with your votes and your voice. We must not lose faith on what values this country was founded and preserved upon. So many have fought and died to give us this right. Do not dissapoint them. The scum in office on both sides are putting us aside for their own interests. Only we can stop it! I don't care what you believe in, and hate me for serving all you want but until you stop believing in something, I believe in YOU!

So what have you done since then. Sit on your hands and hope things get better? Until we get these special interest pigs out of office we will ALL continue to be put aside. Mark my words all. I return to the states in February and I am sick to see what is happening.

Thanks. We're trying. The problem is, the world is changing faster than we are...setting aside the differences we have means setting aside some of the beliefs that many Americans cleave to as 'gospel' truths. In fact, our ability to find common ground as countrymen is severely impeded by some of the things this country was settled, if not founded, upon. I don't mean the Constitution; I mean the complacent, utterly concrete, self-righteous attittudes that have put us where we are today, and you in harm's way for no good reason at all.
Our technical abilities outstrip the evolution of our minds, as always. Our raised voices manifest in a hubbub of discord, while our leaders frantically dance to our scattered tunes in hopes of sustaining power. Finding common ground on which to unite is getting trickier all the time. I'm with you, I think discussion and awareness leads to education, and change. We're trying. Thanks for your service. Be well.

An excellent question! You are 100% right. I am not American, but I can say that your country is on the wrong side of things.
Bush's policies will never go anywhere except maximum carnage. To a great extent, US foriegn policy is influenced by giant corporations and the pro Israeli lobby.
The start of the war in Iraq can only be described as sheer stupidity. The American people should not let a bunch of corporations and a foriegn lobby to influence US foriegn policies.
Saddam never had WMDs, hell, even his tanks were no match against Abrams!
I believe that the American peolpe have that power.

With a straight face, Bush asked the Palestinians to remove their existing leaders, create a functional democracy with separation of powers, write a constitution, and implement a market economy. No state in world history, and certainly not one under foreign occupation, has ever done this in three years. After a half-century of independence, none of the Arab states satisfy the Bush criteria. According to the cynics, Bush knows that the Palestinians can never meet these criteria, and thus a Palestinian state will never be created. Taking us to war based on lies is a clear abrogation of democracy.

I HATE the war in Iraq.I have allway's said that to any one who will listen. How do we get the message out to the right people??Are we the right people??I was a teenager during Viet Nam.I hated that one too.I don't hate any one for serving!!I'm very proud of all of you.We do need to vote all of them out of office. No one should stay in office longer than 4 year's.There should be term limit's set for the Senate and House. No one should stay in office as long as these people do.

And for those who speak up only in self-righteous acts, they make the rest of us suffer while they get new laws made up, for example people saying you can't call people dwarfs anymore, you can only call them "little people". It's politically correct, it makes life harder for everyone because there's one more law to remember, and now there is one more reason to be placed into court because someone was offended by a mistake made by an unknowing, innocent person. We cannot make laws for everything, and not everything is going to be all dandy and 100% safety guaranteed. So for those of you who have something REASONABLE to voice, voice it. To those of you who want to make new laws that ban people from calling small people dwarfs, stay out of it. Please, for all our sakes. The country has values, but if people make too many laws, we're going to end up just like Britain - a mess of strict laws and politics.

Thank you for serving! I agree with you. I have found that when I speak up about the things you just mentioned, most people get get a glaze over their eyes & turn a deaf ear.

Many of us are speaking up. The problem is that no one is listening. It seems that the only time politicians care about what their employers (the American people) want is when they are campaigning.
