There are ancient cave drawings (in France i think) that depict dinosaurs bringing corn and pterodactyls (flying lizard to you) to the cavemen and then all of them sitting down to a big feast...

Well they were fictional characters on the other hand we are real characters celebrating a fictional holiday. Maybe we should be asking ourselves why do we celebrate a holiday that was created by Romans and celebrated at the same time of year which the Pagan mid-winter festival was held on?

At least the Flintstones had the excuse of doing it for the money! :-)

Because both Hanna and Barbara, who created the Flintstones, were both dedicated Christians, and often included Christian ideas in their cartoons.

Brainwash the kids young so they think it 'normal' to be God fearing Christians who love Jesus and the American pioneer spirit is 'essential' for strengthening the 'moral' fabric of America.
