yeah.
I remember watching it every day after pre-school
I was always on the coyotes side.
but I liked the road runner too, some kinda mystery to him.
what the hell am I saying?

Yes. In 1980's "Soup or Sonic" he does catch the roadrunner. By the use of a clever gag, however, Wile E. is only two inches high, while the roadrunner is normal size! In exasperation, he holds up a sign that says, "Okay, wise guys, you always wanted me to catch him. NOW what do I do?"

He did capture the line Runner in one caricature, produced in 1980 via writer Chuck Jones. That action picture, Soup or Sonic, replaced into area of a television particular noted as bugs Bunny's Bustin' Out throughout. In that action picture the Coyote shrinks to tiny length yet manages to snatch the line Runner's vast (to him) leg. regrettably the Coyote is style of a tiny insect to the poultry. He actually did. When I was a kid they had a special that showed Wile E. catching the Roadrunner, only Wile E. had been shrunk to minuscule size, and he grabbed onto the Roadrunner's leg, looking so pitiful, yet triumphant.

There is one episode where he does catch him....but wile is super small and roadrunner is big so wile doesn' t know what to do with him....they don't show it very often...

Yeah boy, that poor fella needs something to eat, Course if he did then ACME would go broke and the cartoonist would lose their jobs. It's a vicious circle. But then, if he just caught him and he got away it would keep going on, Yeah,that's the ticket!

you must have never heard of twisted cartoons. wile gets the road runner and has stew, fudd gets bugs and has rabit dumplings, its hilarious.
