in a couple of months after that. We have 2 sons together and I'm tired of living like this. It's been so long that I just want to be single.

You're going to have to spell it out for him. Tell him if you don't get married by -- insert date in very near future -- you are leaving him, period. Then follow through with it. Life is too short to wait around for someone who doesn't care.

You only live once.I can not express this enough.1 time!!!.This life is all you have and all your going to get.Experience all you can there are no regrets. There will not always be a tomarrow.I would never marry.marriage is way overrated, more traditional than anything. Why spend all your life with one person,it might sound romantic but that is where it stops. There is nothin romantic about taking the only time you have on earth and throwing it away.People get married because everone else does it.If everone jumped off a bridge would you.It use to be easy to say "till death do us part".That phrase was made up hundreds of years ago when people only lived till they were 30.Thats like only 10 years of being together.Do somethin else.Be free,no worries, days will go by so make those days count

Don't you "feel married"? Isn't that enough? I don't think marriage is about a piece of paper or even about a vow (promises are often broken). Actions always speak louder than words... are you supported, satisfied, your kids taken care of, bills paid, peace in your home? Does your man greatly contribute to the well being of you and your children? Then you are married even without the ceremony..

And legally in a lot of states you could be considered "common law" so you may have some rights if you do decide to move on. In any case, good luck.

Well then move on if you want to be single. If after 13 yrs he won't marry you and that is what you want out of the relationship then let him know you are ready to move on without him.
He can still be part of your 2 sons lives.

Just be single. Although you cannot rush a man into marriage, he's had time and then some to marry you...and along with two kids!!! So my advice is either just be single or just go ahead and find new love.

Sweetheart, you are pathetic. You have two children with a man who has been nailing you with no commitment from him, what a great deal. If he has not committed you after 3 or 4 yrs, he will never will, never will cupcakes. Honey, move on for the mental health of your children and yours. I guarantee he is nailing someone else. Move on.

Go for it. You have no reason to think anything will change for the better after 13 years.

FIRST OF ALL IF YOU WANT TO GET MARRY THEN WHY
DID YOU LIVE WITH THIS MAN FOR 13 YEARS, WHAT DOES
THAT SAY.. IF YOU REALLY WAS TIRED OF THIS THEN YOU
WOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING BEFORE DONT YOU THINK. IF YOU WANT TO BE SINGLE THEN DO I BUT DONT
MAKE IT LIKE HE HAS TO MARRY YOU OR ELSE.
