the problem with swinging is usually one side benefits more than the other, and it's usually the man. in effect the female often has to take "one for the team" if it's a couple swap verse a MFF role where the man gets 2 for the price of one. what happens quite a bit is jealousy in that one might want more sexual adventure with the new found playmates, it's not to hard to have an affair behind the others back despite the fact that your are swinging, but happens all the time. both must be open to the fact that is for sexual adventures and not have a tinge of jealousy, a tall order..

They say experimentation can be healthy for a relationship because it allows a person to try alternatives without "cheating" however it increases the risk of STDs and accidental pregnacy. Can't say if it increases or decreases chances of divorce or domestic violence or not. I think if both partners are ok with it they may look for people the same as them or completely different, a personal thing. But I'd advise you never let a couple buy you drinks at a bar and go home with them later.
