Would you be able to date one, especially the "oatkus"? Having to handle all their quirks?

Real Otakus dont date, the word comes from a japanese word meaning anothers house or family, and today it literally means someone who stays in their house and watches anime. So these self proclaimed "otakus" in america most likely arent real otakus, and just think they know everything about anime.....ugh anyways...
to answer you question...yes, since I am an anime fan myself it would be dumb not to date one, and plus I love nerdy guys, esp if they are asian!

Do you mean otaku? umm, I think everyone has their likes and dislikes. Not everything will you both like, so I would say yes! If you have many other things in common to make up for the things you don't.

If I liked the guy, then yea. I like some anime, though only 1 or 2 have ever caught my interest. I don't doubt that its an interesting thing... I have my own dorky obsessions, of course... if an anime-lovin' guy could put up with my quirks, I could put up with his.

Sure - I like quirky people even if I'm not particularly in to anime. Who knows, maybe they could turn me on to it?

wht r oatkus? anyway, i wouldn't want 2 go out w/ someone who likes things i hate anyway.... how about annoy him w/ something he doesn't really like as a hobby?
