I say do what our president did. After Yale, Bush dodged the vietnam war draft by volunteering for a six-year hitch in the Texas Air National Guard. Evidently hoping to avoid winding up in Southeast Asia, on his application George checked the box labeled do not volunteer under the heading "overseas assignment."

1-800-Canada, if you watched Stephen Colbert's response on Comedy Central.

Personally, although they are considering this, when a new President is elected, it will more than likely disappear. They were talking draft at the end of the Gulf War as well, and that also disappeared when the Democrats took office.

I would be scared for the people who have to go so I'd be upset. I'd hope that I couldn't go because I'm female and I'm probably too old. Maybe a note from my psychiatrist could get me out of it. I wouldn't blame anyone if they hid or ran away but I would worry about them getting caught. Yeah, it would be pretty upsetting.

Well, just wait a few more months and I'm pretty sure at this point that we're all gonna find out.....

Nobody wants to go to war.....but sometimes it's necessary(though at this point I don't know about now)

I would vote against anyone who voted to institute a draft. They would be politically dead as far as I am concerned.

I don't think many people would go if they did.

Wouldn't like it a bit but I would do what I had to do so you would still be able to ask me these questions on the computer. Get my drift?
