No. I think that happiness is about how much you deviate from your level of happiness that you expect and how well you deal with and understand your elation and depression. Having superhuman powers would do nothing more than raise my expectations of my level of enjoyment that I would expect to recieve on a daily basis. Therefore, having superhuman powers would give me extreme elation at first which would make the decision to have superhumans seem beneficial, but as time would wear on it would be hard to keep a consistant level of happiness that high, and eventually lead to a long rut of depression.

I wish I were Batman
I don't the "lack of superpowers makes your lives less meaningful and enjoyable to yourselves" because we are never had superpowers. I think it would be different if we did have superpowers and then all of the sudden they were taken away. I mean how would life if you could never walk again or see. I think that, that would be horrible. So for super heros I think it is the same if they all of a sudden lost their superpowers then it would be like the same as regular humans losing their ability to walk or see.

I'd like to be able to run and run and run and never want to stop. The superhuman power would be in not being distracted by hunger, tiredness, boredom etc. Maybe I'd like to run so fast I took off and flew. My life is definitely less meaningful without this ability, in fact it is down right dull.

I wish I was superhuman. Then I wouldnt need to worry about money because I could probably just think about what I want and Poof! there it is. I would never get sick, or tired, or bored with a superhuman mind. I wouldnt be unhealthy or flabby or ugly or have stupid neighbors or annoying relatives....sign me up!

I think everyone would like some sort of superhuman powers.. I'd love the ability to control how fast or slowly time passes for me.. for example if I could make a second seem like a minute to me then I could move so fast nobody could see me..

Well, I'd like to be able to eat all the ice cream and cookies I want without gaining weight, but the reality is I still do. Otherwise I am invincible, (except maybe for those evil jelly filled doughnuts.......)

Sure it would be cool to be bullet proof, have super strength, the ability to fly. I would were it possible.
But that does not make my life any less meaningful. God made us the way he wants us to be and that is good enough for me.

Actually, I think we are all superhuman. If we all dig down deep we will find that we are all part of God or higher being.
