In that case, to be truly rich, one must not gather riches, but start gathering souls?! Do you agree?

I'll give 10 pts to the first person who can tell me what book the above statement came from. :-)

Oh I'm sorry not the Bible. I'm asking where is the phrase "Then to be truly rich you must gather souls." come from. I'm extending the question for another chance?!

Clue: It was said by the villain of the book whose goal was to control the minds of everybody. The hero, was an architect and he was the one mind he could not control.

I don't agree! I think it means the soul is invaluable, in that to have one is greater than all the riches that could be attained in the world. I'll guess The Lord of the Rings (yep, I know its wrong, but please don't blame me for trying).

Mark 8:36

I think that the things of this world are secondary to the things of the next, and that helping others is the only way to make life worthwhile.

Bible *ding ding ding!* and I wanna say New Testament, like the Gospels (I'm 99.44% sure lol). And I do agree he talks about not being materialistic but not sure about the "gathering souls" but talks about saving your own soul (and then helping others save theirs).

I am wondering how a person gathers souls?
We can influence other people but we are not responsible for their souls.
