First off american idol sucks..In the many many years its been on, I've watched like 4 minutes of it...And go to the site to find that info. One of my friends tryed to go on the show and i think she said your have to be 18 unlesss you have your parent/guardian with you

I think it's between 16-28...they raised the age limit. That's how that gray-haired guy won last year. Simon HATES the younger teen contestants, though
