You better believe I'm afraid of what this Country is becoming. it's a sad day when the Citizens of this country turn against the Men and Women in Uniform and don't support what they have accomplished in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's a sad day when the Media feeds what it wants to the citizens in this country to help support their political parties. It's really sad that our Schools have tossed out religion and no one stands up or places their hand over their heart when the national anthem is playing. It's even sadder that parents have lost control of their children and can't teach them life's basics, say nothing about manners or respect for authority. It's sad that a person can get away with adultery while "On duty" as President of the United States, but a President that declares war on Terrorists after an attack on US Soil is hated. You bet I'm afraid that we use US. Troops to Police the worlds borders, but our own borders are wide open to most anyone. I'm scared as hell when as a second generation US citizen, I am discriminated against for a job promotion in the name of affirmative action. You better believe I'm scared! Destroy one another? Hell. We're destroying OURSELVES!!!

Are you afraid of what this country is becoming?
No, I have a little hope after the last elections. Finally!
Are you afraid of this country that we live in?
I've never been afraid although Bush & his friends have always tried to make us so. Fear! Fear! Fear! is all we heard for 6 years...
Are you afraid that we are going to destroy each other?
Totally! By destroying the environment. The county next to mine wants to invest millions in a cheap coal plant with outdated dirty technology because it's a few bucks cheaper, but they realize they probably won't even save money because they will get penalized for using out-dated technology instead of using clean coal so why, why, why????
Sell our minds and souls to big corps. to make a small buck?
I don't think they are interested in our overly expensive American minds. Big corps are mostly off in India or China or Pakistan where labor is cheap! What they don't realize is soon those countries will take our American technology and make all the computers or technology there, and we won't have those companies anymore in 10 or 20 years anyway. Intel will become something like Bintel or Cintel (an Indian owned company)...But I guess those companies are not bright enough to realize that foreign workers/outsourcing companies will steal their technology.
Should we stand for this or impeach Bush while we still have a chance?
Why bother? He really should not have much power and should be a lame duck if the Democrat majority in Congress and Senate do their jobs now. I think the thing Bush most wanted was to be revered in the history books as one of the best presidents, but he will have the opposite of course.

This country is founded upon capitalism. Impeaching Bush will not change that. Our economic system has made us one of the wealthiest countries on earth. It's working as designed.

I was going to agree with the first few questions. But I have no idea why you have paranoia about us selling our minds and souls to big corporations -- whatever the heck that means. And you think Bush should be impeached for the crime of leading Americans to sell their minds and souls to big corporations?
Your first 3 questions had me with you. Then you started rambling incoherently and saying nonsense.

The UN has even more frightening plans like a one-govt police state, they own waterways and will charge for usage, demand all firearms, religionless, any Patriot voices will wind up in FEMA camps, and ID chips eventually holding all our info.

I am only afraid of those who refuse to fight for whatever they believe in. Only we can change this countries course, regardless of what we believe is best. Some are for the new changes, others are not. It is up to ALL Americans to voice what they feel is right. It is what so many have died for! Do not fail those who fight to preserve that freedom. You all have a voice, SPEAK UP!!!!!

I am....the people who are supposed to serve us are selling the country out to special interests and cow-towing to ultra-liberal forces.
The gap berween the very rich and the very poor is widening.
And the Republicans, the so-called conservative party, are becoming more and more like Democrats every day.

My guess is that the demise of this country isn't going to come from it's leadership. It will simply be that the American people will fail.
