Yuppers. And I've also heard "That blimy bastard nicked me fags!"

I laughed, and had a huge black eye for nearly two weeks.

Yes -- in a Foghorn Leghorn cartoon. The actual expression is "loud-mouthed shnook," and it means a noisy, obnoxious person who can't stop talking about what he knows nothing about. That's Foggy to a "T."

In the theatrical cartoon simply titled "The Foghorn Leghorn," Henery Hawk's papa tries to swipe a chicken from the henhouse, but gets thrown out on his ear by an incessantly talking Foghorn. Witnessing his father's defeat, Henery asks him, "Was that a chicken?" To which his disheveled dad replies: "No, that was just a loud-mouthed shnook!" (while displaying a flashing streak of yellow down his back).

After that, Henery starts calling Foghorn a loud-mouthed shnook instead of a chicken, much to the rooster's chagrin. Even the farm dog gets into the act by agreeing with Henery. At last, however, Foggy succeeds in convincing the pint-sized chickenhawk that he is indeed a chicken -- for which he promptly gets hauled away to serve as Henery's dinner!

In the final scene, Foghorn admits, "I'm just a loud-mouthed shnook," while Henery adds, "Chicken or shnook -- in our oven he'll look good!"

So there you have it.
