Why does the world dislikes people who look different?

I mean that if you naturally don't fit in like if your right eye is green and your left is blue. why doesn't it matter that everybody has to be the same?Why do people get bullied because of it? Shouldn't they accept it and not be all critical of it?

Why does this have to happen in culture? Like if your white people call you a cracker or etc etc. Is this because of the movies that are so popular like saying every girl should be blond and have boobs.

I agree with you, people are people. Unfortunately we are the minority. My 8yr already experiences the BS that the world has to offer.

I think people are biased towards others that aren't like them because it's just naturally in us. It's almost as if we fear people that are different because we simply aren't them. For example: You put a group of green people in a room and then stick a purple guy in there.. How would everyone react? This purple guy is odd and doesn't share the same genetic traits as the green people.. Both the green people are afraid as well as the poor little purple guy..I don't think the question should be asked in the way it was. The question should have been, "Why is it so difficult for people to accept others that are different?"

People are just naturally afraid of the unfamiliar. Some people can accept the differences in others and some can't. It's usually the close minded people who can't accept that everyone is different . We should all celebrate the differences in each other. This world would be so mundane if everyone looked alike!

yes, people should be more accepting and not make fun of people who, for whatever reason, feel that they are different. If we all looked the same what a boring world this would be. I think the people who bully are themselves mistreated somewhere in their own lives and they feel that they have some control over their tiny lives if they pick on someone else. It takes their minds off their own problems. Rejoice in your differences and thank God for them because He doesn't make mistakes and you are the way you are for a reason.

unfortunately, our world is still full of people who judge and belittle others. to be different is not a crime. children can show a lot of this as they know not what they are doing, or they have been taught by their parents. what you are saying is true. all of us should except each other no matter what we are like. we are all unique and here are not two of us the same. if the world was full of people all the same it would be so boring. in my eyes, i believe that we are all as one and no one is better than anyone else. we should all learn to love one another and live in peace.

I have always liked differences in people's looks. But I guess I am different. I think we need to see people for who they are inside, not on the outside.

You are right I believe as long as there is comformity, religion, and no inner rpeace. we'll always pick on "different" people or segregate them in our minds.....
Have compassion for them...they must be very lonely in that insecure world.

many people are just closed minded and set in stone. but there are also people who will think its fricken awesome. but the 'ideal' person isn't different than everyone else. why? because our world sucks, idk
