i think it's really cute, i had mine done too. just make sure to spray it with the antibacterial stuff and you should be fine. and be careful not to snag it in your clothes when you are getting undressed. that always used to be a problem for me.

That is a funny answer about being 99 and everything is sagging hahahaha. It's not unusual for out generation to do such things, however, not only will it become a faded out fad but also quite a nuisance as one answer stated, that is great advice, to realize that it might cause problems with clothing.
As for my comment, God doesn't have any respect for the adornment of the body, not in jewelry, nor in coloring of the person with makeup or tattoos. Makeup isn't so bad since it can be removed and not worn again upon being convinced of the Holy Spirit and or conversion from above, both are of the Holy Spirit. I personally have a pierced ear, did it when I was about 14, only to regret it today. I have seen others with piercings and it's no longer appealling, that is probably because the Holy Spirit showed me that beauty is within, it's also without, but that is in the character - the actions everyone else can see.

Make sure you get it done at a very professional place, because you could get paralyzed if they don't do it properly (I know someone it happened to, so I'm not just being paranoid). It will be sore for a while, and it can hurt a lot when you get one, but they can look very cute afterward, and if you decide you don't like it in the end, there won't be much scarring if you got it done correctly (and if you take it out very soon afterward), or there will be little scarring if you take it out a while after (well not enough to be of any nuisance). My aunt had to take hers out when she got pregnant (6 years after she first had it done) and I can hardly tell she ever had one now.

If your skinny, then it will most likely hurt to get it pierced (mine did)... but if your larger then it wont hurt as bad... more cushion for the piercing.... But belly button piercings usually get infected, mine did, and it took about a year to heal completely... it didnt hurt unless something rubbed it, but now its fine... and guys think its hott... so go for it

Even if you decide you don't like it later in life you'll always have a scar, especially if you get pregnant--because it will stretch!!! This happened to me and other girls I know---it sucks...
So if you are looking that far into the future, don't do it!!!

It looks good on some people, but on others it looks skanky. Just being honest. My mom got it done and six years later she still has a scar.

I wouldn't recommend it sweety. It could lead to infection and that fashion is only temporary. You'll have to remove it one day when you get pregnant. But it's really up to you.
