"A weed is but an unloved flower".

Frank Lloyd Wright said that anyone over 5'7" was a weed (but then, he was really short). So what? My hubby is 6'7". I'd take him over some 5'6" hot house flower any day of the week.

Its a sad world when because something, for instance a blooming plant, is considered a "weed" because its not as pretty as its "flower" relative.

I personally prefer dandelions. I mean can you blow on a daisy & make wishes on 38749237429 awesome flying seed things ??

The only plant that should be considered "weed" is marijuana.

Dandelions are dandy.

PS :: I felt like getting preachy on the subject. I always loved dandelions as a lil kid lmao =)

PPS :: This WAS sarcastic.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I think that they both are flowers. More people plant daisies than they plant dandelions.

Maybe because dandelions are herbs, or at least have herbal properties, while I don't think daisies do - they are only good for looking cute, while dandelions are cute and useful as well.

B/c daisies are sweet, and lush, as for those nasty weeds, they look bad and kill the other plants, silly!

simple....weeds are plants that reproduce easily and beyond what is wanted and flowers often require nurturing to spread.

Dandelions salads are wonderful by the way.
