Why do people litter?

I'm talking about dumping huge fast food bag, cup, ect. (usually Mcdonalds???) int the middle of the street or parking lot - very disrespectful and like they say it all starts in the home!

They were raised believing that the world exists only for their pleasure.

Fortunately, some of them die young because they also believe they are invincible, and others will wind up in prison because they assume the judge will understand and cut them a break like Mommy & Daddy always did.

The survivors will look at their dead/imprisoned friends and think "s**t, that coulda been me..."

maybe because they're lazy, but i would disagree with those who say its because they don't care about the environment. we ALL contaminate the environment, whether you throw your trash in a parking lot or in your garbage can. it all goes to the same place - back to the earth. we have a misconception that when we throw trash in the garbage, we are doing the earth a favor, but its really no different than throwing it anywhere else.

in fact, trash service may be doing us a DISservice because the trash "dissapears" and we have no idea how much trash and contamination we are generating on a daily basis. (i'm aware that living in a dump environment is no good for your health, and i'm not suggesting we do away with trash service.. although we are slowly turning the whole world into a dump..).

so whether they're lazy, may not care about keeping the world "aesthetically pleasing," or whatever the reason, we ALL need to be aware that we are ALL litterers and should cut back ont he trash we generate and throw away.

There's a good reason why we call these people "trash" isn't there? They're just lazy slobs who weren't taught respect or consideration for anything.

I was behind a car once when all of a sudden I thought I was being attacked by McDonald's - there was so much trash being throw out. Now I carry a little memo book & pen with me so that I can write down their license plates & report them. Slobs, Slobs, Slobs.

Because they have no respect for themselves or where they live. They are just plain lazy. It's kinda sicking to see the trash that is around. But I don't know about people anymore. They just don't care.

Because they are to freakin' lazy to take a minute out of their own day to walk to a trash can and throw it away!!

The only example I can use is my stepkids. They are lazy, coddled by thier mother andshe usually cleans up after them. If someone else will pick up after you, why bother.

they wish to have disease that no human kind had cured before...
they like stinking smells rather than a perfume......
